Canadians in the American South West
It was a few years ago Fátima and I headed to The American South West—not because we wanted to, because we had to.
You see, due to our water heater power surge on board Tranquility (1973 Airstream) our smart batteries shut themself off—they needed to be reset in San Francisco, California—where they were hand made. We were getting ready to build our dream home in Muskoka Ontario and the hard winter was coming. With no building permit in sight—we made a “B-line” towards Texas.
From October to March, we were Canadians in the American South West—snowbirds without the migration. The photographs you see are taken with my Lieca Q.
